Newtown Middle School Halloween Contest Every year, as Halloween approaches, the most amazing display materializes in front of the Newtown Middle School. The Newtown Middle School Halloween Contest is actually called the Scarecrow Contest and the middle school students create the displays. Each display has a number on a yellow tag and you can vote on your favorite - although it will cost you $1.00. Check the Newtown Bee for ballot information on the Scarecrow contest.
