The Connecticut Association of Realtors has launched a new site and program called "Own It, Keep It".
Straight from the website, here is the mission statement:
"Own it, Keep It!'s goal is simple-to promote wise and responsible decisions regarding owning and keeping a home by offering information and resource to prospective home buyers and home owners alike." Connecticut is leading the nation with this new program. Other states are using CT as a model of helping homeowners. This program was designed by the Connecticut Association of Realtors, Inc, (CAR) the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority (CHFA) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This site and the resources include information avoiding foreclosure, mediation, scams and credit counseling. Visit the site for all updates http://www.OwnItKeepIt.org.
As this website was created as an informational resource only, visitors will be able to use the site anonymously - they do not track or contact anyone who visits the site.

What a great idea! I am going to call this to the attention of my local board of Realtors. Thanks for sharing.
All right, CT! Thanks for letting us know about this.
