My Daughter found her wedding gown in Newtown, Ct!  They were excellent down to every fitting and every detail.  We love that shop, located in your town!

Newtown also has a vibrant arts community, including: * the only place to see $2 movies in the state (Edmond Town Hall) * the Town Players (75 years of community theatre) * SCAN (50 years of Society of Creative Artists in Newtown) * Newtown Friends of Music (34 years of chamber music) * Flagpole Photographers Camera Club * Newtown Cultural Arts Commission (since 2003) * Flagpole Radio Cafe (staged radio variety show, since 2007) * Stray Kats Theatre Company (professional acting company) * several dance schools for ballet, tap, jazz, and Irish dance ...not to mention several other occasional performances by community choirs, CT Master Chorale, etc. And, debuting this year, the Newtown Arts Festival, September 15-16, 2012, celebrating the arts and artisans in our area.
